by The Chocolate Dictionary

A chocody is an epigram with a romantic, chocolatey theme, especially when allusions to the Milk Tray Approach are made:

  • “From my room to the moon is thousands of miles, or a handmade truffle and one of your smiles.”
  • “If poets dream of the chocolates her lips rhyme, when admirers steal her smiles is this a crime?”
  • “What would life be to us if truffles were no more? Would we feel night behind us, darker than before?”
  • “Last night I dreamt Louise was eating chocolates to appease, the longing in her heart that we should never be apart.”
