by The Chocolate Dictionary
Words created with chocolate letters. Rococo Chocolates in London do them, as do Charbonnel et Walker and Nottingham-based company Chocklet. It is also a custom in The Netherlands to give chocolate letters as presents on St Nicholas’s Day, held on 6th December and a special day for children in particular. More and more chocolatiers are selling chocolate letters as novelty items throughout the year, not only giving delicious impetus to the joys of spelling, but also creating a most pleasing interpretation of the expression to eat one’s words.
